Italian Culture
The Italian culture has different aspects to it, food is one of the most acclaimed all over the world, fashion as well, but what do you know about their way of life? Let's talk about it a little bit.
A tipical italian day for a tipical italian family:

Wake up at 7 o'clock and have breakfast, which is usually coffee for the parents and milk or biscotti for the kids or any other kind of breakfast food for kids. If they are lucky some kids will get some goodies from the Pasticceria (store with all variety of cakes, cookies and biscotti), and the parents will get a capuccino at the closest sidewalk cafe`.
School starts at 8:30 and so does work, even if shops usually open around 9 o'clock. They are over between 12:30 and 2 o'clock. School is from monday through saturday. Everybody goes back home to have lunch with their family and possibly, if kids allow it, have a half an hour nap before some parents have to go back to work around 4 o'clock.
If the parents or mother doesn't work in the afternoons they stay home with the kids, help them with homeworks and eventually go out shopping or for a walk, in the busy and trafficated Italian cities (we'll take Rome as a good example).
The stores close at 8 o'clock and after that time if it's a week day you won't see anybody in the streets, because they are all home for a fresh homemade dinner.
Special occasions :
Special occasions are a soccer game, holidays, weekends or this type of things.
When a soccer game is going on most of the man you can be sure they are home watching it. There are times when men get together to share this "important" moment. If the national team is playing and scores a goal the whole city is going to scream "GOAAAAAALLLL" at the same time. And if the team happens to win you will see the whole city down in the streets with flags shouting their happiness.
During holidays like Easter or Christmas families will spend the day at home with at least three generations present, since everybody usually lives in the same town. The meals are long and they include appetizers, pasta, meat or fish or both simetimes, salad, cheese, fruit and dessert.
For what concerns the week-ends, friday and saturday are days to have fun, on sunday averybody rests. Stores are closed nothing is open unless is Christmas time.
